The Bates Nut Farm is famous for its nuts, candies, dried fruits, as well as pumpkins and Christmas trees. A great place for an afternoon outing, the Farm also offers a tree filled park for picnicking, a children's zoo, a boutique, and a country store. Bell Gardens is a produce farm owned by Glenn W. Bell, Jr. (former owner of Taco Bell). Here residents and visitors discover over 115 acres of cultivated fields, creek beds, walking trails, and lawns for picnics and play, as well as fresh produce for sale, seasonal events, and farm-related classes and workshops.
